Our Mission: Empowering Children with Love and Safety

At St. Theresa's Child & Youth Care Centre, our mission is simple yet profound. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where children can rediscover their self-worth and begin their healing journeys. As a registered non-profit and public benefit organization (NPO & PBO), our focus is not on profit but on service, love, and creating meaningful opportunities for the 63 boys aged 4 to 18 years who call our centre home.

A Rich Legacy: The Augustinian Sisters' Impact

On 6 November 1891, the first Augustinian Sisters arrived in Estcourt, laying the foundation for what would become a century of impactful care and education for the youth in our community. We are proud to honor our founders and salute their charism of "love and mercy," which continues to guide our work at St. Theresa's.
